• Account information: Email address and password (or social login provider ID) when you create an account.
• Profile information: Optional username and display name.
• Portfolio data: Stock holdings, transactions, and dividend targets you enter into the app.
• Preferences: Currency, theme, and biometric lock settings.
• Waitlist: Email addresses submitted via this website, used solely to notify you when the app launches.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect contacts, photos, or files from your device.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the BetterDividends service - displaying your portfolio, calculating dividends, and tracking your income goals. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
• Yahoo Finance: Stock prices and dividend data (no personal data is shared).
• Cloudflare: API hosting and content delivery.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab in the app, or by visiting our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data.

Children

BetterDividends is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
